Change Notification Policy

This policy applies to standard products sold by Quality Biological, Inc. as available or advertised on our website or through our distributors. It addresses requests for “pre-notification” of product/process changes and requests by customers to enter into a “supplier legal agreement” with Quality Biological, Inc.

Quality Biological, Inc. standard products are sold under a single catalog part number to multiple customers worldwide. No single customer has design control of the product. It is not feasible or cost-effective for Quality Biological to enter into a specific supplier legal agreement or an agreement where pre-notification of product/process changes is required for these products. If customers have specific change notification or supplier legal agreement requirements, please contact Quality Biological to explore setting up a custom part number for your application.

It is Quality Biological’s standard practice to provide written notice (“Change Notification”) for material and manufacturing process changes that we believe may impact our customers and to inform them accordingly via a Product Change Notification (PCN). A Product Change Notification (PCN) may be issued for the following:

Type of Change
Formulation
Regulatory aspect of the product
Shelf-life
Form, Fit, and Function
Part Number
Product specifications
Discontinuation of Product
