ENZ™-Free Non-Enzymatic Cell Dissociation Solution

Description

ENZ™-Free Solution is a proprietary, non-enzymatic solution specially formulated for the non-destructive detachment of adherent cells from culture vessel surfaces. ENZ-Free is a gentle dissociation of mammalian cells for studies requiring intact cell surface proteins such as ligand binding, flow cytometry, and immunohistochemistry.

• Recommended for detaching adherent cells growing in serum free conditions

Applications

ENZ-Free works well with lightly adherent cell lines such as HeLa and NIH 3T3, but is not recommended for routine passage of strongly adherent cells. ENZ-Free is a membrane-filtered, isotonic, and enzyme-free solution of salts, chelating agents, and cell-conditioning agents in Dulbecco’s Phosphate Buffered Saline (DPBS) without calcium and magnesium.

ENZ-Free is useful for serum-containing cell culture systems, serum-free cell culture systems, and protein-free cell culture systems.

Recommendation

Use ENZ-Free with item QBSF 60 serum free cell culture medium.
